    South Central Community School Corporation will move forward with plans to host students physically in school starting on September 14, 2020. The suspension of South Central junior high extracurricular activities will also be lifted; practices for those activities will begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Assuming that conditions do not deteriorate, South Central is tentatively aiming to return to 100% full attendance on Monday, September 28, 2020.     2020-2021 SENIORS
    Students entering 12th grade are required to receive their second Meningitis (MCV4) vaccine and two Hepatitis A vaccines. The Hepatitis A vaccine requires six months between dose one and dose two. Please make sure to get the first dose done early. A document with the dates of the above may be turned into the nurse's office before the 2020-2021 school year. Students that will be seniors in the 2020-2021 school year will need proof turned in by the first day of their senior year.

    2020-2021 6TH GRADE STUDENTS
    The state of Indiana requires that all students entering 6th grade receive: 1st dose of Meningitis (MCV4), a Tdap booster, and new this year - two doses of Hepatitis A. The Hepatitis A vaccine requires six months between dose one and dose two, so be sure to start this early. Proof of vaccination should be turned into the nurse's office no later than the first day of school.

    2020-2021 STUDENTS
    All students in grades K-12 are to have both Hepatitis A vaccines. Elementary students should already be compliant, but students in grades 8-11 may not be. Parents should check their student's records to be sure they have two Hepatitis A vaccines.

     Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4:00pm

    **On Wednesdays, buses come 30 minutes later than the normal pickup time. In the case of a two-hour delay, buses come two hours later than the normal start time and late start is not recognized.

    Visitor Passes
    If you visit our building during school hours, you will find we are using a system for visitor passes. This system will require you to present a valid driver's license or government ID. Your license or ID will be scanned, which will allow us to immediately check for criminal offenses or court documents used to protect our students. Please be sure to have a valid ID ready when entering the school.

    Bringing Treats
    The United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service and the State of Indiana finalized its regulations for school wellness policies. Schools had until July 1, 2017 to make the necessary modifications to their wellness policies. Food brought to our schools for birthday parties, classroom celebrations, and/or holiday parties must follow our smart snack guidelines.
