Building Project

South Central Community School Corporation and the Board of School Trustees have approved a multi-million dollar project to provide additions, renovations, and improvements to the school building.

The tax-neutral project, slated to begin in the summer of 2024, will include a three-classroom addition to the elementary school, a two-classroom addition to the high school, renovations to the library/media center, locker rooms, and restrooms, and the construction of a student activity center building. Some other smaller projects will also take place including new casework in elementary classrooms, track resurfacing, and a chiller replacement.

Elementary addition constructed in the front northeast corner of the school building

Reconfiguration of current library space
